Birth & Postpartum Doula Support in Jackson, Mississippi

Hannah Servis is a Birth & Postpartum Doula/Childbirth & Lactation Educator in the Jackson, Mississippi Metro and surrounding areas.

Having given birth to five children, three in hospital and two at home, she is an expert in giving birth! As a doula, Hannah believes in the importance of educating women about their bodies, their birth rights, informed consent, and what to expect during birth and postpartum.

Hannah’s approach is rooted in her faith in Christ, helping to create a peaceful atmosphere for the women she serves.

Women were perfectly designed to give birth.

While there ARE emergencies in birth, birth in and of itself is NOT an emergency.

Hannah truly just goes beyond the expectation of doula!  My midwife even said to me how GREAT of a doula Hannah was and how rare it was to find such a good doula who operated so naturally in her role. Hannah’s passion for birth is real. Her willingness to serve you through the process is refreshing. Her support is unmatched. Forever grateful the Lord brought us together and that because of having Hannah as my doula, my birthing experience was better for it. Thank you x1000, Hannah!

If motherhood requires a village,  why wouldn’t birth?

During pregnancy every mother is told how important it is to have support, a village.

Someone who can help during

the overwhelm,

the sleepless nights,

the moments of doubt.

When you are up at 2am wondering if you are any good at this at all.

You NEED support after birth.

So why not during birth?

Why wouldn’t you need support during the most transformational time of your life?

Because whether this is your first baby or your tenth, the birth of a new baby will always deeply change you in some way as a woman.

With each pregnancy and birth, things you didn’t know were inside of you begin to surface…

Fear, doubt, anxiety

But, also,

fierce strength, courage, and resilience. The kind that can move mountains.

Here’s the thing…

It’s not that you CAN’T do it on your own. It’s that you shouldn’t have to.

When it feels like you can’t make it through one more contraction, when you don’t have the words to advocate for yourself, when you don’t know if you have the strength to keep going,

I’ll be right there.

Standing beside you, holding your hand, holding space. Speaking life and reassurance over you. Providing comfort measures to help you through the waves. Reaffirming your wants and desires for your birth.

Supporting you through every moment.

That kind of support can change everything.

If this kind of support feels right for you, give yourself permission to accept it.

Because that’s the whole reason I became a doula.  To serve the mother who needs the kind of support that sees her, hears her, and stands beside her.

LET’S BUILD YOUR VILLAGE!

I would love to walk through your pregnancy, birth, and postpartum journey with you. Providing the kind of care that doesn’t end when your baby is born, but continues until you are ready and feel confident in this new chapter.

As a birth and postpartum doula, I offer different levels of support, so you can choose what feels right for you.

When we work together you receive consistent, personalized support that many mothers never knew was possible.

You deserve that support!

Hannah is fantastic! I did a Sip and Share with her, it was something I wasn't really sure I needed at the time but was curious about. I had talked about my labor and birth experience with other people but she created a safe space for me to talk about some of the harder parts. She's super knowledgeable and caring.
